Blueberries are in season and available at all leading grocery stores. Fresh blueberries are a good source of vitamins such as vitamin C, vitamin K and Vitamin B6 along with manganese and fiber. Blueberries can be eaten as a snack too. Today I added blueberries to lemonade and the result was pretty good.
Blueberries - 1/2 cup
Lime/Lemon Juice - 3 tbsp
Sugar - 5 tbsp(Adjust according to taste)
Method of Preparation:
1. Wash the blueberries and add them along with sugar to the mixer/blender and blend into a smooth puree.
2. Strain the puree through a fine mesh strainer into a bowl.
3. Add the Lemon juice and chilled water to the bowl.
4. Mix well and serve in glasses with ice.
